hmmmmm…not so sure about that, but then again I don’t like sea food I grew up on the ocean (East coast) use to walk the jedi and hunt for crabs and star fish, but always set them free. I love to fish, but just don’t like sea food or fish.I’m thinking though if you were to taste it without knowing what it was, you probably wouldn’t think crab.

Chuck the ingredients in a gin still with some white whiskey and run it.

That makes sense. I use matching herbs and spices when I run with chicken or hamburger in the pot.viewtopic.php?t=71406

Shame this wasn’t a little sooner. I could imagine JimTom singing “Crab whiskey, crab whiskey….” as he hammers the seams on a copper stillpot. “I have a potstill that smears like a fresh plowed coon on the highway” – JimboA little spoon feeding *For New & Novice Distillers

How is it? Do you get any crab notes? Seafood? Fishyness?Or is it more like a bourbon with the old bay notes from the seasoning he adds? There are two types of people in this world.1. Those that can extrapolate from incomplete information.

How is it? Do you get any crab notes? Seafood? Fishyness?Or is it more like a bourbon with the old bay notes from the seasoning he adds? There is some subtle crab and definitely some old bay spice type notes… “Grandma’s Spicebox” if that might conjure up an inappropriate warm fuzzy for you like it does for me….-j————i prefer my mash shaken, not stirred————

The shells have useful flavor in them. You could chuck all of the leftovers except the lungs into the pot.
