  Ooops.Folks,1. We had a rogue IP hitting the site a few million times which slowed everything down. I have blocked that IP.2. I updated FreeBSD and the packages and found out that mysql 5.7 is no longer available and FreeBSD insists I upgrade to 8.1. This is a major, major hassle which I can’t undertake at the moment.The solution – i rolled back HD to 1/10/24, which was yesterday. I’m sure we lost some posts! Sorry about that, it couldn’t be helped.If only the best birds sang, the woods would be silent.

  Who would go out of their way to attack this forum like that? It just seems like a stupid waste of time. I know websites get attacked all the time, but why? It makes me wonder if attacking sites is done to stimulate the demand for continually upgrading software and the like.4″ VM Build
