Hi folks.Stupid error.Started a new ujssm wash yesterday, 30l water with appropriate corn and sugar. Using SAF instant gold yeast.Second time doing this (first I went 4th gen and very pleased with results). However, this time I placed my fermentation barrel on the heat mat and forget to plug the mat into my inkbird temp controller. This morning I checked it and the temperature had hit 35c. I’ve obviously rectified this and it’s back to it’s set temperature of 24c.My question. Have I ruined the wash? I’ve read that high temperatures can lead to off tastes. If so, should I just start again? Thanks in advance

It’ll be fine, but your cut points will likely be at different jars. Run it and chalk it up to experience.Fear and ridicule are the tactics of weak-minded cowards and tyrants who have no other leadership talent from which to draw in order to persuade.

Thanks. Quite happy to take it as a different experience. Just didn’t want to possibly taint the next wash etc. Thanks again.
