Im starting to get quite a stockpile of neutral feints. Is it worth giving these the baking soda treatment once I water them down to 40%. The low wines that most of this stuff was distilled from was never treated before.

My understanding of this is that you add 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda to each Liter of 40% low wines that you are going to run through your reflux still. You add it about a week before you want to distill your neutral. Some sort of reaction occurs that compresses or condenses the amount of heads you end up with leaving you with a bigger hearts run. Ive just tried it for the first time and Im pretty sure I ended up with more good neutral after cutting.

I haven’t seen the need with 50L odd of wines to run.

Would be good to see someone confirm or denine.
