Hi,I’m having fun and feel a lot more confident after advice from the moderator of this site (I have a basic italian copper still with no temperature gauge and wasn’t sure about splitting methanol from ethanol, death is always a worry ) many thanks for that.I am based in Europe (where owning a still is ok, but using one is illegal), and after reading about the reflux still and the ease of use, I wouldn’t mind getting hold of one. Which websites do you recommend that for ordering a still and what do you recommend. (I will be creating 23L of wash at a time), I’m prepared to invest a bit and would like something that is self contained and is very efficient (also that does’t release any vapour for obvious reasons, don’t want the police knocking on my door ).Once I get the hang of basic distilling (using the superyeast and then have some swiss made essence for flavouring), I will start having a go on creating my own mash, which sound great fun.Anyway, great site.cheersSimon
