I have made one batch of absinthe without a hitch, but this past batch I’ve been having a problem when I go to dilute the ABV. I started out with 85% ABV after adding the cleared coloring herb liquid. I used the formula to determine the amount of water to add to obtain a 75% ABV (133 ml for a 1 liter batch). When I added the water I got a end result looking like it had louched, opaque green. What am I doing wrong? Can I redistill this and give it another try?
