  Recommendations for Purchasing a Pre-Owned Boiler

  We are looking for direction and recommendations on a 1M to 1.2M BTU steam boiler for our distillery.  New boilers are nice, but very costly.  Does anyone have any recommendation on where to search for used boilers?  Thanks all for any insights!  – Bob

  Probrewer is good. Craigslist isn’t horrible. Find yourself a contractor in the steam business who freelances and ask them to inspect it for you regardless of the source.

  Thanks for the feedback.  I’ve been browsing Probrewer based on your suggestion.  I did’t know if there’s a reputable company that specializes in the used boiler business.  Looks like we just have to do our homework and due diligence.  Thanks again!  – Bob

  My experience with a boiler is that the installation is quite a bit more expensive than the boiler itself.

  Hey, we have an used Miura boiler LX100, is 100BHP, plenty of room to expand, if you need a 50BHP we can get you one, let me know. Thanks.
