The Distillers Assistant (DA) assists in all production components of distilled spirits produced at Tarnished Truth Distilling Company. The DA performs daily tasks as requested by Management, including but not limited to: Product development, Product production, Recordkeeping, Equipment maintenance and cleaning, Inventory management, product packaging, and Event coordination and attendance. The DA is expected to represent the distillery in the absence of management during distillery tours and special events both on and off-premise Job Role Responsibilities Production of all products from grain, mashing, fermentation, distillation, barreling, aging, bottling, and packagingFollow all SOPs; including safety and sanitary regulation, and all federal, state, and local regulations to ensure optimal levels of quality service and hospitality are provided to the guestAssist in the maintenance/sanitation of the Distillery and equipment to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality serviceFollow and promote accident prevention programs to minimize liabilities Assist in managing raw ingredient inventories, ordering, and qualityAssist in completing all distilled spirits record keeping both federal and state for taxation and warehousingAid with all on and off-premise special events as needed Job Qualifications Requires knowledge of distilled spirits and/or beer manufacturing procedures.
