    They look awful short to me. Most people make their Liebig condensers 4′ long using 1″ over 3/4″ copper pipe or 3/4″ over 1/2″ copper pipe. Which one of their stills are you interested in?4″ VM Build

    Here’s a link you might want to read before buying that thing. There’s lots of similar topics here if you search “brewhaus liebig condenser”. There’s a very good reason you see a LOT of people here with kegs for boilers and copper pipes for risers. You can build a hell of a lot better pot still for only part of what they charge for a pot still at Brewhaus.4″ VM Build

    rickyaifd are you opposed to building a pot still? I know some people don’t own any tools at all and have no interest in constructing anything. If that’s the case, I won’t beat dead horse. A pot still can simply be a Tri-Clamp spool and a couple of Tri-Clamp elbows. Absolutely no construction involved. Now comes the product condenser. You could build a Liebig out of copper pipe & some copper fittings which will require a little cutting and soldering. On the other hand you could just buy a decent shotgun condenser. Most are 100% stainless steel, but I’ve seen some recently that are all stainless, but have copper internal pipes where the vapor condenses. I’m sure the one with copper tubes would be more efficient. Lastly comes the boiler. You could just buy a stainless boiler, but I’d shop around because I’m not sure if Brewhaus has the best prices. If you need some help listing sources for parts just ask. Tri-Clamp spools, elbows, reducers all fit together like Legos so you don’t need to build anything. A lot of people like to modify a keg so they can make the boiler exactly like they want it.4″ VM Build

    The responses pretty much confirmed my thoughts, so making it modular will be the better way.

    Yessir . Much more flexible and not locked in to one still . I’m sure though , that that brewhuas will be just fine for spirit runs , it will be too small for stripping ….. well you could run harder with a bigger Liebig .8gal is probably a good size for small batch runs , but you will soon grow tired of it . 15-18 gal kegs make better boilers in my opinion …… and they come with a 2” port that will join into a 2” tri-clamp module .My recommended goto .wiki/index.ph … ion_Theory
