  Just Completed a Batch…

  Hi there, Just wanted to mention that I just finished a batch of strong brown (dark!) ale that ended up fermenting out at 9.6% abv. Tastes good even pre-carbonation, so I am looking forward to having a bottle after it has aged in the fridge! Anyone else have a batch in the works?Shifty

  theholymackerel – I thought I had a lot going on with a beer going in the bottle, a sugar wash fermenting, and another batch o’ beer ingridients waiting to be mashed!

  you like it dark shifty?I’ve got my imperial prince of darkness stout that is completley opaque. final grav is 1.028, but it only ferments out to 7.6abv very full bodied and lotta hops next time it will get some corn sugar to push it closer to 9% . i like to bottle it in quart bottles, but as you know, 7-10% brews can destroy youre abillity to stand.Hey guys!!! Watch this…. OUCH!
