Dewatering Screener for Spent Grain – $5,000
We are selling our rotary screener. We used to use this to thicken our whole stillage before sending it off to a screw press, and it works very well. It handled 10.5-12 gpm well, just needed something a bit bigger. This screener dewaters the vast majority of the stillage. Below is a link to a couple of videos and a pic of it.

The drum itself is 1/8″ perforated stainless. We played around with diffrent sized inner screens and finally ended up with a 200 mesh screen that did really well. That inner screen was damaged during removal and needs to be replaced…it can be done for a few hundered bucks. I can share the place where we purchased the inner mesh screens from. I always just bought a few feet off a roll and then we cut strips of copper sheet to hold it in place. As you can see in the video, it was quite effective. If interested, shoot me a PM.
